I thought this car universal holder had the suction cup that stuck onto the dashboard of the car. Upon opening the box there wasn't a suction cup part to the holder. Instead it was a different version on the car holder. I was pretty disappointed because it would have been perfect for my heavy BLU R1 HD smartphone. With this version of this car holder you attach the car holder to the air vent in your car, then you adjust the sides of the holder to the size of your phone. It holds my phone pretty well without the phone slipping out and falling onto the car floorboard. I give a rating of 3 out of 5 stars.
